Recently, Hunan Canpure Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. has been successfully included in the 2025 Hunan Provincial Enterprise Technology Center List, thanks to its more than two decades of deep-rooted expertise in membrane technology, strong R&D capabilities, and remarkable innovation achievements. In May 2023, Canpure won the bid for Baofeng Energy's EDI project.

Baofeng Energy’s 2.6 million tons/year coal-to-olefins plant, along with its 400,000 tons/year green hydrogen-coupled olefin production facility that uses desalinated water treated by EDI technology, produces 64,800 m³ of water per day.
